The xyzt.ai platform allows you to upload the different types of road network-defined data as Data Sets. When creating a Data Set, you need to select a Data Set type based on the data variant, as outlined below:
Road Data Variant | Data Set Type |
---|---|
Static data defined on road segments |
GeoJSON Data |
Temporally aggregated traffic data |
Time Series Data |
Trips defined along a road network |
GeoJSON Data and Movement Path Data |
Note that the xyzt.ai platform also accepts non-road data, such as sensor data (points) or city neighborhood data (polygons), which is why the data set types are named more generically.
Additionally, a Movement Path data set depends on a GeoJSON data set to define the road network. This means that the same road network data set can be reused across different movement path data sets. For Time Series data sets, you currently need to upload the road network files within the data set itself.
For an easier experience, we recommend following one of the data upload tutorials, such as the one that teaches you to upload your own movement path data.
When uploading data to the platform, you must configure the various data attributes. This can be done using the data upload wizard or by uploading configuration files in CSV format (known as Properties files). For your convenience, we provide the example configuration files here:
Data Type | Files | Properties Files |
---|---|---|
GeoJSON |

Time Series |
